“A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013.”
connor :860 days old
there’s nothing like seeing your baby big boy in his daddy’s hat. i have an unhealthy attachment to that hat. it’s old and worn and the plastic of the brim is breaking inside but i refuse to let kyle get rid of it. instead i encourage him to keep wearing it. it reminds me of our first days dating and all that comes with that fresh, new, can’t get enough of you days. seeing connor in it makes my day. although we don’t have those same schmoopy, new moments like before we have this awfully cute son that is just as great of a reminder as the old, worn hat.

this is called the poopy face. she’s getting down to business and i am sure she will appreciate the photo evidence of it later in life. on a side note – penelope has always been a once a week pooper up until a week or 2 ago when i started my full fledged vegan diet. hmmm?? coincidence? who has thoughts on this?
this is part of the 52 project from the Che and Fidel blog.
want to see more photos from project 52?
hope you all had a fantastic weekend! xoxo

They’re adorable. I detail caught my eye though. What’s that on Conner’s shirt? “I’m a little…”?
