So I’ve had this vision of doing an all white frame wall against my blue walls since seeing John and Sherry’s frame wall  over at Young House Love.

Finding enough frames to get a start on the wall would have been silly expensive so instead of buying new I kept my eyes peeled for a clearance or decent frames at Goodwill.

Low and behold Target came to my rescue first! I knabbed these frames 50% off! $3.50 and $5. Woot! Woot!

Of course, they weren’t white so a can of white spray paint was in my future…

Anything can be spray painted but you have to pick the right spray.  I’ve had the best luck with Rustoleum Universal Paint & Primer in One

and

VOILA! Our all white frame wall…. I heart it:)

Now of course it’s not complete.  I started with spraying my clearance frames and as well as recycling a few older frames I just didn’t love alone anymore but would work nicely in this collage. My plan is to keep adding to fill the majority of this wall.

I’m trying to keep it fun and personal so I’ve framed old notes, newspaper clippings, new and old pics, a print of where Kyle and I got married.  I am loving the white against this blue color too.

Spray paint can transform anything! Before you toss something you think you may have grown out of think about whether or not a fresh, new color will give it new life or match your current decor!

what little projects have you done lately?
